The Duomo

While I was in Italy, I made time to visit two cities, Rome and Florence. And just as the Colosseum was the biggest draw for me in Rome, the biggest draw for me in Florence was the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower (known as the "Duomo" because of its giant dome). The exterior of the cathedral is magnificent and the views from the dome and the bell tower are phenomenal.
